CITE Conference in San Francisco This Monday

Despite all the changes, I will be speaking at the Consumerization of IT in the Enterprise (CITE) 2013 conference in San Francisco. My topic is adoption of social collaboration platforms and applications by taking a knowledge worker-centric approach. Even though companies have adopted social collaboration platforms, many knowledge workers won’t use them. I’ll offer up some advice on making social collaboration platforms and applications more relevant and meaningful to the average knowledge worker. The title is “Social Collaboration Solutions and Best Practices – What Do End-users Want?

I also have the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion on social enterprise. Social enterprise is a pretty broad topic so I anticipate an interesting, maybe even rousing, discussion. If you are planning on attending the conference, join us.

If mobile computing is more your speed, there is a parallel track on Apps that includes Lawrence Coburn, CEO and Founder of DoubleDutch. DoubleDutch makes some great mobile apps for events and Lawrence is just an interesting guy to talk to. Seems you can’t go wrong no matter what.

See you there.
